Brief Description
Silver participation medallion presented to Frank Beaurepaire (swimmer) to commemorate the Olympic Games in London, 1908. Obverse features winged female figure of Fame standing on a globe, holding a palm leaf and trumpet. Text in lower left section lists countries that were previous Olympic Games hosts. Text in lower right section reads "IN / COMMEMORATION / OF THE OLYMPIC / GAMES HELD / IN LONDON / 1908".". Reverse depicts two males in a four horse chariot, one the driver and the other a judge. He holds a palm leaf to present to the victor.
