Brief Description
Bronze medal won by Frank Beaurepaire (swimmer) in the 1500 metre Freestyle at the 1908 Olympic Games in London. Obverse features two seated female figures crowning a victorious athlete with a laurel wreath. Inscription in lower section reads "OLYMPIC GAMES / LONDON 1908". Reverse depicts scene of St. George, patron saint of England, slaying a dragon to save a princess.
