Brief Description
Medallion presented to Frank Beaurepaire by the Helms Athletic Foundation honouring his commitment to sport. Medallion is bronze and obverse features a naked discus thrower. Text in legend reads "HELMS ATHLETIC FOUNDATION". A torch, olive branch and dove are below the figure. Inscription on reverse reads, in part "AWARDED TO / SIR FRANK BEAUREPAIRE / IN RECOGNITION OF / NOTEWORTHY CONTRIBUTIONS / TO AUSTRALIAN ATHLETICS...". Olympic rings feature below text.
