Brief Description
A gold medal awarded to Les Harley for services to lifesaving. The medal features a Royal Crown, crossed oars, a white enamelled circlet with gold lettering that reads 'ROYAL LIFE SAVING/ SOCIETY', and two blue enamelled panels with gold lettering 'SERVICE/ CROSS'. The reverse is engraved 'Mr L Harley'. The medal is suspended from a pale blue, royal blue and white striped ribbed-silk ribbon, white enamelled award suspension panel with gold lettering - 'R.L.S.S.'- and fixing pin.
