Brief Description
Gold medal won by Lily Beaurepaire for 3rd place in a 220 Yards swim in Melbourne on 9th February, 1918. Obverse features a scene of two figures swimming framed by an ornate border with fish and floral details. Text in legend reads "THE AUSTRALIAN LADIES AMATEUR SWIMMING / CHAMPIONSHIP". Reverse inscription reads "220 yds. / Champ. of Aust. / Melb. Feb 9/18. / 3rd / MISS L DE. BEAUREPAIRE / Time 3-19.". Loop attachment at top.
