Brief Description
Gold medal won by Lily Beaurepaire for 2nd place in a 100 Yards swim on 16th March, 1918. Medal shaped like a life belt bound with ropes enclosing an enamel blue crown and white shield. Blue scroll along lower edge reads "CHAMPIONSHIP". Inscription around belt reads "100 YARDS / CHAMPIONSHIP OF VICTORIA / 16.3.18.". Loop attachment at top. Reverse inscription reads "2ND / MISS L. DE BEAUREPAIRE / TIME 1.21".
