Brief Description
Gold medal won by Lily Beaurepaire for 1st place in the 220 Yards Swim at the V.L.A.S.A. competition on 16th March, 1927. Medal shaped like a life belt bound with ropes enclosing an enamel blue crown and white shield. Blue scroll along lower edge reads "CHAMPIONSHIP". Inscription around belt reads "V.L.A.S.A. / 16-3-1927". Loop attachment at top. Reverse inscription reads "220 YARDS CHAMPIONSHIP OF VICTORIA / L. DE BEAUREPAIRE / 3-24 4/5".
