Brief Description
Gold medal won by Lily Beaurepaire for 1st place in the 220 Yards Swim at the V.L.A.S.A. competition on 21st January, 1920. Medal shaped like a life belt bound with ropes enclosing an enamel blue crown and white shield. Blue scroll along lower edge reads "CHAMPIONSHIP". Inscription around belt reads "V.L.A.S.A.". Loop attachment at top. Reverse inscription reads "220 yds championship Victoria. / 1st / L. de Beaurepaire / 21'1'20 / TIME 3-19 4/5".
