Brief Description
Silver medallion presented to Lily Beaurepaire for the Royal Life Saving Society Award of Merit, 1911. Obverse features scene of a figure rescuing another from the sea. Loop attachment at top. Text in legend reads "THE ROYAL LIFE SAVING SOCIETY / THE AWARD OF MERIT". Reverse features seated woman holding a laurel wreath with a setting sun in the background. A scroll contains text that reads "AWARDED TO" followed by an engraved inscription "LILIAN [sic] BEAUREPAIRE 1911.".
