Letter, single page, both sides; written on 10 February 1948 to Donald Mackintosh by Harry Lauder: "My very dear Old Friend / Please let me say on behalf of / Greta, her Mother and myself very many / thanks for your Gracious Gift, it is a Gift to make us Thank God / we have a Good & Gracious Friend. / We hope your Health Keeps / Good & Steady we here have had / a lot of colds but we are O.K. / again & I hope and trust this note / will find you O.K. & if you / come in contact with any of our old / Friends say we send our love & respects / We look to see you some bonnie day / And to Visit Australia once / more, we are just Getting over / a bad bit of our usual winter / And looking forward to the bonnie / days O' the Spring when we get a / song frae the Larks every morning. / Good Luck Donal' & Joy be evi ye. / A' the time / Your Sincere Friend / Harry Lauder".
