Letter, small, single fold; written on 3 March 1902 to Donald Mackintosh by Dame Nellie Melba: "Dear Mr MacIntosh / It was most / kind of you & / Mrs MacIntosh to send / me such a beautiful / basket of flowers last / night. Many many / thanks. // I hope to have the / pleasure of meeting / you before I leave. / With renewed thanks / & kindest regards to / you both. // Believe me / Yrs sincerely / Nellie Melba". Handwritten, off-white paper; gold and blue Nellie Melba insignia letterhead. Accompanying envelope is 1987.1695.33.
