Brief Description
Bible; large, ornate. Presented to Donald Mackintosh on 5 October 1899. Leather bound, embossed, gold plated decorative corners and hinged clasps; "HOLY / BIBLE // ILLUSTRATIONS / AND / REFERENCES" in gilt on front cover; paper gilt-edged. Steel point engravings throughout. Fragile - leather binding deteriorating.
