Brief Description
Shield shaped silver medal won by Fred Fletcher for a shooting competition in the 1930s-40s. Obverse features detailed, ornate design with central scene of two riflemen lying on ground taking aim. Text in surrounding border reads "B.S.A. INTER STATE CHALLENGE SHIELD". Figure on rearing horse at top of medal near suspension ring attachment.
