Brief Description
12ft cadet dinghy, 'Margo' built in 1959 by Jack Gutierrez and skippered by Bruce Crossley. The dinghy sailed in races in four Australian states until 1985, and in 1962 won the Stonehaven Cup for the Australian Cadet Dinghy. Varnished wood with multi-coloured wood gunwale, rigged with main and detached rudder and keel. The mast & boom section with white sail attached (gaff-rigged) has the number '93' stamped/burnt into the mast. Another separate mast section also has the number '93' stamped/burnt into it.
