Brief Description
Oar, rowing, wood; blade painted yellow, maroon and blue stripes, gilt scroll with inscription: "AUSTRALIAN EIGHT OAR CHAMPIONSHIP / at Parramatta May 6th 1922"; crew and event names listed below scroll. Two deep groves running down each side of shaft; leather and metal row-lock; metal cap over end of blade.
